On October 17th, 1997 my honey (aka Rei) took me to see Phantom of the Opera in the Pantages Theatre in Toronto and let me tell you, it was THE greatest thing ANYONE has EVER done for me!! I had the best time of my life. Going to Phantom has always been a dream of mine, and my Rei made it come true for me. Isn't he the greatest guy in the WORLD?!

On April 11th, 1998 Rei & I celebrated our 1 year anniversary! It was an absolutely gorgeous day - bright and sunny and not too cold :) We went for a picnic on Columbia Lake, and it was so romantic. Just being in that wonderful place on such a fantastic day. Then we went to the cinema to see "City of Angels" simply THE 2nd most romantic movie I ever saw! Next we went to a fancy restaurant for dinner and we ended off our day at Williams talking. I had the BEST day just because I got to spend it alone with my honey and it's really amazing for me to think that my life with him is only just beginning! Here's to our future together Rei!!

On May 2nd, 1998 Rei took me to see the "Stars on Ice" show at the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton. Now, just to let you know, I LOVE ice-skating and I have been following several skaters' careers for quite some time now. So you know, this was a MAJOR thrill for me. I was SO excited. We even got good seats!! The show was simply amazing! That's the only way I can describe it! I had a blast and it was yet another dream come true for me. My Rei! Is he simply the BEST or what?!!

In August, 1998 Rei took me to 360, the restaurant at the top of the CN Tower! Now, I've never been up there before, and being slightly afraid of heights I wasn't exactly looking forward to it... but it was AMAZING! He timed it JUST right so that we were sitting in the restaurant to see the sun set. Now the food was NOT worth the price... but that didn't spoil things too much! I even worked up the courage to step on the glass floor! (But I didn't jump on it!) But overall, that day was totally fantastic!

On March 11th, 1999 (otherwise known as my birthday) Rei made me feel like a real Princess! He bought me this beautiful tiara with REAL gemstones on it AND a stuffed animal - Luna! I felt so special and loved knowing that he cared about my little dreams and fantasies enough to make them come true for me.

In June, 1999 Rei and I went to Centre Island. I wasn't feeling my best at first, but Rei made me take some painkillers (thank you honey!) and then I had the BEST time! We bought TONS (and I mean TONS) of tickets and went on all the kiddie rides :) And then we rented some bicycles and rode around the islands. We went to see the farm animals and walked around in the beautiful gardens and just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

On July 2, 1999 Rei and I went on the road :) Hee! Just kidding! We went to Niagara! It was a GORGEOUS drive down there cause we took the "scenic route" hee :) First thing we did, Marineland. Ok so I thought it was semi-cheezy too at first. But it was surprisingly REALLY cool. We got in the whale & sea lion show and we went to Friendship Cove (including the underground part where you can see the whales swimming around in the tank). Altho... I gotta confess we spent a good bit of time going crazy in the Arcade. They had lots of gambling-type games. We were just getting prepped for Casino Niagara of course :) And sad to say, we lost money at the REAL Casino :( But it was fun nonetheless... maybe cause it wasn't MY money? ;) hee!

Actually, the whole July 1 long weekend was simply magical for Rei & I just because we spent from Friday to Monday (inclusive) together. *sigh* Life is good.

On April 18, 2000 Rei and I went to see Mariah Carey in concert! I am a HUGE Mariah fan and it was my first concert... ever! It was amazing! And of course, I got so caught up in the excitement that I was suckered into buying tons of useless Mariah paraphanealia! hee :) Oh well! It was really fun!

August 18-21, 2000 Rei and I went on our first vacation together! We went to the beautiful Niagara-on-the-lake and stayed at a B&B. It is so gorgeous there! Very peaceful and homey :) We did all of the "touristy" stuff, went to see a Shaw Festival play, went on a romantic carriage ride, visited the Falls of course, as well as the Butterfly Conservatory. We also took the ghost tour of Fort George and I was SERIOUSLY freaked out! All in all we had a wonderful mini-vacation... where to now?!
